For the PowerBook, a better way to scroll than the arrow keys (IMO) -
Go to System Preferences, Keyboard & Mouse Trackpad - select "Use two fingers to scroll"

You can then use one finger to move the cursor, and two to scroll down pages. If "Clicking" is selected, you can also
click the mouse button just by tapping the pad. This makes the pad very convenient to use and I now actually prefer it
to using an actual mouse (saves a lot of back-and-forth movement with the hands)

Thanks for all these tips, Adrian. Modifier keys are great, but memorizing the different combinations is difficult, and scrolling with the trackpad's side is faster to me as it requires less intellectual effort than remembering which modifier to use. Of course, this may change overtime with modifiers slowly engraving in my brain ;-)
