Apple can't control the installers other people make, but I don't believe this problem is mentioned in their installer best practices so it's probably worth filing a bug on that. It would be a shame for Apple to automatically apply the user's default style to all DMG windows because it is simpler for users to allow developers to lay things out nicely and provide instructions on what to do - they just need to remember to make it easy to follow those instructions.</description>
