That would still explain Planet Intertwingly though there’s obviously some other sync issues that are harder to reproduce in there too.

I actually meant 200 posts per feed – but after a few days without net it seems to be a bit of a mixed bag as to which feeds will sync properly and which won’t.

When in Australia, espically the major towns and cities there’s usually free wifi at the public libraries and major shopping centers/malls

Oh well, I guess it wasn’t that hard to reproduce then. That would probably contribute to a few of the sync issues I see – usually I just put them down to the iPhone not syncing after I read things. 200 posts really isn’t that many.

that NNW sync issue is the one thing I think is really stupid about the newsgator platform – the API to update between the online reader and any of the desktop readers only supports the last 2 weeks or 200 posts, whichever is shorter. Unless you update daily, it’s far too easy for out of date posts you read to not be marked as read on the server next time you sync.
