I managed to get 6 concurrent uploads going to gmail so it turns out the migration won't be painful at all and will be finished sometime tomorrow. I don't think I'd ever migrate off of gmail though, if gmail was going down there is maybe 1 folder of stuff worth keeping and even then only the stuff from the last 12 months.
So why keep it? Because gmail can.

In my defense, living a minimalist email lifestyle is something that has only recently occurred to me now that my iPhone is my primary email client ;)

I managed to get 6 concurrent uploads going to gmail so it turns out the migration won’t be painful at all and will be finished sometime tomorrow.
